With a player like this you absolutly need to proceed with caution. Thejim your are correct please don't ever try to bluff this type of player learn from me and all the money i've donk off to these terrible players. Say you get a hand like AA KK make sure your betting, atleast thats what I would do. He is guarantee to call you all night. Also be ready to dump as soon as you he caught is draw. Who cares about the money you put in the pot because you could get sucked in an end up losing more. If your a good player and you got chips in front of you, you will bounce back. Remeber these players are GSMBLERS not POKER PLAYERS they do not care about good plays and good folds. They want action action action. You need to be focused if one time you raise alot trying to scare him out of a draw and he ends up hitting it. Next time just value bet. The key to playing these types of players is to always have chips in front of you. In time luck runs out and you will be sitting there with all your chips and then some. I am not a pro I am not a amatuer. I lost alot of money in poker and I am not affraid to admit this. I take beating after beating on the table.

I would value bet the hell out of him, call him lighter than normal, but not ever try to bluff him again.

So what sort of strategy would you use against this guy should you run into him again? He seems to be your typical call station with a lot of gamble in him.
