No tell. Actually, I was in the one seat, and had to look around the dealer to see him in the 9 (V is 10-handed). This was not the type of dude to call a raise with 78, so the straight is less likely. If he had the flush, I would have sensed more confidence/strength. He had trouble calling the flop bet, literally. He couldn't figure out how many chips to put in, and required help from the dealer. When he insta-called the turn I didn't like it, and when the Jc hit, I'm not beating much. btw, this was the one and only hand he played. He took his remaining chips and left.

"Flop 965 all clubs. Raiser checks, which means no overpair, and probably no club draw. "

Your thoughts on why that means no club draw or overpair?

"I raise to 100. Raiser folds, bettor calls. I don’t think he flopped the straight or flush"

Did he give off a tell that he didn't have the nuts, or something?

No, he had been sitting there, not playing much. Early 40s probably. He had lost the only other pot he played by being outdrawn. When he shipped it, I expected to chop the pot, and probably wouldn't have been surprised by a set or even two pair. But, top pair no kicker was nowhere in my radar.

"Folds to the last caller, who ships for his stack. I call. He has K3 (???), "

I don't get this. Was he an obvious rookie/tourist? was he drunk?
