I like that story, Dave.

Trevor - I agree with connectors. I'm trying to flop two pair or better but prefer the better, even if it's just a big draw. Usually, however, two pair is good enough to play fast. If he had made a normal bet, I probably would have committed myself. Also, I have been taking $300 and buying in for $100 with the intention of rebuying for $200 should I go to the felt. Although, I have also considered rebuying for $40 or $60 or whatever their short buy is. I just haven't been felted yet. Shortstacking makes decisions very easy.

Awesome, I played with Mr. Annoying last weekend. He talked about every hand, said "time" a lot, and kept apologizing because he had such a good hand he had to think about it. He could see that I wasn't thrilled with him, especially after he hit running diamonds for a flush that cost him something like $16 pre-flop, $25 flop, and $30 on the turn. He had not other draws, no pair, no straight draw, no high card. A few hands later he says, "I hope there's no hard feelings." And I say, "No, I just think you're an idiot." He didn't say much to me after that, but got really excited every time somebody new sat at the table. Ooooh! Someone new to talk to!

Listening to Jimshow and reading JimSheet is fun.

I have noticed a Jim trend of buying in for $100 at winstar recently. What are you thinking with this buyin amount? You might have explained yourself somewhere, but I forget. Please remind me.

I enjoy Mr Annoying at my live tables, mostly from the tilt factor they may cause for other players. I like to fuck with them sometimes, depending on my own personal mood.

Nice fold of the 2 pair on that flop. Which reminds me of some thoughts in the back of my head when I go to a flop with connectors, I seem to always secretly hope I don't flop 2 pair because I know it will be hard for me to get away from 2 pair and harder for me to get open ended players to fold. That might be a weak play/feeling on my part, but it makes me crazy anyway.
