Work.
It’s not slowing down. I’m working my “3rd job” tonight for the first time in six weeks, dealing poker at a party for some business group. I’ve turned down a dozen gigs in the meantime, which I never used to do. Any remaining followers of my blog have no doubt noticed a dropoff here, even if it’s because I mention it in every post. We’ll see if I regain some balance soon.
I am headed down to Houston for a quick break on Saturday, to play in Dr. Joe’s birthday poker tourney and drink some Miller Lites. Should be fun.

man, only 2 more weeks on NFL preseaon games left and only one week until college. I’m getting pumped about football starting, but really starting to worry that TheJim may not ever update. Not one peep. I fear this is the end. It was fun while it lasted.
